Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading retail business based in Liverpool who are looking to appoint a Commercial Analyst to join their finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially minded individual to play a key role in delivering financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making within a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Producing and submitting quarterly royalty and forecast statements in line with licensor expectations
• Analysing performance against forecasts and historical data to provide commercial insight
• Tracking minimum guarantees, marketing contributions, and advance payments to flag financial risks early
• Acting as the go-to person for all finance-related licensing queries within the Buying Department
• Collaborating closely with Finance, Buying, Design, and Legal teams to ensure financial alignment across departments
• Driving improvements in royalty and forecasting tools through automation and process optimisation
• Supporting non-financial stakeholders with clear and concise financial analysis

Who we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a Commercial Finance role, ideally within retail, licensing, or consumer products
• Strong Excel skills with confidence handling large, complex datasets
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Confident communicator with experience working with senior stakeholders and external partners
