Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, UK-based business who are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join their finance team.
Based in Denbigh, this opportunity is ideal for an organised and detail-focused finance professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and expanding organisation. Working as part of a small finance team, you will support a wide range of day-to-day finance and administration activities, ensuring transactions and records are processed accurately and efficiently.
Salary/Benefits
- £27,000 - £29,000 depending on experience

Job Duties
- Process daily banking transactions and accurately allocate customer receipts
- Support Direct Debit collections and investigate payment discrepancies
- Maintain sales ledger records and respond to customer account queries
- Process customer refunds and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist with supplier payment runs and invoice verification
- Support purchase ledger activities and other routine finance tasks
- Maintain accurate electronic records and financial documentation
- Respond to finance-related queries from customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Provide general administration support across the wider business
- Assist in identifying process improvements within finance and administration functions

Ideal Experience
- Previous experience within an accounts, finance administration or similar role
- Experience processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
- Competent user of Excel and finance systems
- Well organised with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Sage 50 or Sage 200 experience would be advantageous
- AAT qualified or studying towards AAT would be beneficial, although practical experience is equally welcomed
