Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our client with the hire of an Assistant Accountant. This is a great development role for an AAT, ACCA or CIMA studier looking to build their finance experience within a supportive, growing team.

The Role

You will play a key part in the finance function, with responsibilities including:

• Assisting with monthly management accounts and period-end processes
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing expenses, credit cards and supplier invoices
• Supporting KPI monitoring, budgeting and forecasting
• Contributing to process improvements and workflow efficiencies

What We're Looking For

• Studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA or QBE with relevant experience
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable using finance systems
• Detail‑driven, organised and deadline‑focused
• Clear communicator who enjoys problem solving and continuous improvement
