A growing and well-established multi-site business is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to take ownership of a varied role within a dynamic and expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, journals and reconciliations
• Maintain and improve financial controls across multiple entities
• Manage fixed asset registers and capital expenditure schedules
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting
• Investigate and resolve balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation issues
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision making
• Support year-end processes and liaise with external advisers
• Contribute to finance system improvements and process efficiencies
• Assist with the integration of acquisitions and new business activities

Ideal Experience

• AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience
• Strong management accounting background
• Experience producing month-end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience
• Advanced Excel and strong accounting systems knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
